![]() ![]() ![]() I suspect that some of the automated scripting to determine the version number is failing for the portable and stable versions, as it first sets a $vert value to the string representation of the value of $version, which has not been previously defined in the script and then attempts to pull a version number from the URL in question. The scripts for portable and stable are not matching the regex in their update_helper.ps1, as the file name structure has changed - for the portable version, the separator between FreeCAD and the version number is now an underscore, the abbreviation WIN has been replaced with Windows, and the packages are now being distributed as 7z, rather than zip. The dev commit numbers have no relation to the stable version numbers. You can find SHA256 checksums to verify the integrity of your download on the 0.21.2 release page. To find out what's new, see the release notes. The current scripts for dev appear to pull a weekly build from, where the first number in the file name signifies the commit number from which the build is generated the script is applying this as the overall version number, instead of appending it to its semantic version (since it is not provided in the filenames). FreeCAD is a general purpose feature-based, parametric 3D modeler for CAD, MCAD, CAx, CAE and PLM, aimed directly at mechanical engineering and product design but also fits a wider range of uses. The 0.21.2 release of FreeCAD was published on. ![]()
